SSUA Studio

The name SSUA comes from Sunnysideupagnes — a nod to the sunny-side-up egg, a little symbol of joy and simplicity.

To me, a sunny-side-up egg is warm, nourishing, and full of possibility — just like good design.

It’s a reminder that while branding is deeply meaningful work, the process can also be lighthearted, fun, and a little bit whimsical.

Hi, I’m Agnes, Sze Yee Hui — Chief Designer & Studio Founder of SSUA Studio. I’ve always been drawn to quiet, beautiful details and the way design can shape how people feel and connect.

Beyond aesthetics, my heart is in helping brands grow with purpose.

You know that moment when something just clicks, and you realise it will shape the course of your life? That was me with the world of visual communication, design, and all things creative. I learned early on to follow my curiosity and immerse myself fully in what I loved—fashion, art, travel, and the little details that make life inspiring.

I studied visual communication in the UK, and ever since, I’ve loved exploring new places, cultures, and creative ways of seeing the world. Each experience fuels my curiosity, teaches me something new, and makes me a better designer—able to understand a wide range of industries and perspectives.

My path to brand design began through hands-on creative projects, from crochet creations to personal art experiments. Each project taught me something new—not just about aesthetics, but about people, businesses, and the stories behind the brands we love. Today, at SSUA Studio, I lead a small, boutique studio in Paris, pouring warmth, curiosity, and thoughtfulness into every brand we craft.

I’m forever learning, exploring, and evolving as a designer. My love for beautiful, meaningful creative work keeps me curious, humble, and endlessly inspired—and I’m grateful every day to do what I love, in my own way.
